I thought I’d start my blog here with a little studio tour!
If I were on that house/interiors tv show on RTE ‘Home of the Year’ I think it’s called…where the owner puts a big red spot in their favourite part of the house..I’d put mine here, up on the mezzanine above our living room.
It’s bright and airy and just the right size for a studio slash playroom…it’s got happy energy as it’s where all of my art lives/ideas come to life and where Jules and Lu get to be creative!
On my side, I have my trusty easel and some Ikea picture ledges that house some paper pieces..off the floor which is great. IKEA supply cart is awesome..roll it around with me no need to dig around in a drawer for essentials!
My inspiration wall is just above the desk…I love this as it’s ever evolving..I didn’t bother with a noticeboard as I like to be able to move things about and change my mind and if I want to, or to take it all down and simplify!
On Jules side..recently revamped, as she outgrew her little craft table..sob!! I was nesting when I organised this (Lu was due in just over two weeks!) so to say organising the monumental amount of crafting and Lego supplies she has accumulated gave me joy is a massive understatement…lol!
Can you tell I was slightly influenced by the ‘The Home Edit’ on Netflix..who doesn’t love organising things by rainbow?
